Tom Paris once again becomes creepily obsessed with an inanimate object, in “Alice”, and Neelix becomes obsessed with helping Tuvok, in, “Riddles”. Also! Trekabout is taking the next two weeks off. Our next episode will be released on August 14 (14 August for those of you in the correct parts of the world.)
Trekabout Episode 308: Star Trek: Voyager, Alice/Riddles

Christopher Rollins
-Well, the screencap alone sums up this week on Voyager. A sentient craft that turns out to be evil and tries to kill someone. To anyone reading this, who thinks of Fatal Attraction instead of, obviously Christine based on that description of Alice? Second, as someone who watched Riddles, who here has tilted their head at how the story played out?
Eric Murphy
-Yeah, not the best week… although I find season 6 pretty strong, on the whole.
Christopher Rollins
-Eric, have you read Jammer’s Reviews plot summaries of Season 6? Because some of the episodes coming up clearly scream “Let’s make these people watch our show”. I’m talking about Barclay and Troi showing up, The Rock showing up because wrestling was popular, Kes coming back, Janeway falling in love with a hologram, the holodeck breaks again, and of course the Borg children.
Eric Murphy
-I read them sometimes, but not until after we record.
