All Cats Are Beautiful
-I’m struck by how forgettable Voyager is. I fully re-watched Voyager a few months ago, but I still need to read the entire memory-alpha to jog my memory of the plots of most episodes.
Ignoring that using a Borg drone to implant a virus into the collective was already a plot idea in Best of Both Worlds, I feel it does the plot a disservice. If the episode centered on Icheb’s decision of which life to choose, it would have been much more interesting than making the choice obvious by forces beyond his control. It would have also dovetailed nicely with the premise of the show by highlighting the permanence of his decision. Oh well, they just threw all that out the window to tack on yet another Borg subplot to an otherwise interesting episode.
Ah Voyager, I lament the show you could have been.
All Cats Are Beautiful
-Oops, the virus plot was from I, Borg, as you mention.

-Yeah, I’m with you on this. It’s probably the best Voyager could have done, however, which… I’m not sure what that means.
