-Completely a tangent, but I wonder how many times someone in all of Star Trek is ordered confined and that confinement is successful — that is, the prisoners stay in the prison for the prescribed time. I think this is one of, like, two or three times it happens. But somebody gets locked up in every third episode. (Most often in TOS, but the trope exists in every show. It’s even parodied in the Trek Futurama episode.) Somebody should do a census. Ooh, that can be what you guys do with all your free time when you get to the end of the podcast!
