-Oh yeah, “Alliances”, the episode that SFDebris says killed the Star Trek franchise. If you’re curious, i suggest you check out his Star Trek reviews. Word of caution: SFDebris is, let’s say, not a fan of Voyager as a series.

-Well, did you at least watch the review of Alliances all the way through? Because i agree with SFDebris and his thoughts on how the episode ended. And, well let’s just say that going by another podcast site (www.trekmate.org.uk) which also covers Star Trek, without spoiling the ending, there’s a reason why of the Berman Era Trek shows, i’d watch TNG or DS9 a second time and not Voyager or Enterprise.

-I did watch it all the way to the end! I thought he did a decent job defending his opinion, even though I don’t agree with it. Voyager has a lot of problems that can’t be pinned on the end of one episode.

-In some ways that’s true in that if Alliances didn’t kill Star Trek, it did mark it going downhill for most Trek fans. Speaking of going downhill, Threshold by Brannon Braga: It’s a bad sign when the actual writer says it’s a bad episode.
