It’s Long Lost Relative That We’ve Only Ever Had Cursory Mentions Of Week on Trekabout! First up, it’s “Homeward”, which provides us Worf’s human brother in a Very Special Episode about love. Later, in “Sub Rosa”, Dr. Crusher’s dead grandmother’s ghost lover stalks and assaults her. We wish we were kidding.

-Could ‘Sub Rosa’ be even worse than ‘Code of Honor’?
The beginning felt off and I thought that maybe the video streaming dropped something so I restarted the episode and found that it hadn’t. As the episode continued, I really wanted to stop watching it but knew that, since Eric and Richard don’t do recaps, I would be lost listening to their podcast and soldiered on. The episode was just SO bad that I almost stopped watching anyway, but I had 20 min to kill and finished watching it. Perhaps it was worse than ‘Code of Honor’, since I didn’t find that episode as hard to watch.
As far as ‘Homeward’, I don’t accept that letting civilization die because of natural disaster is consistent with the Prime Directive, so I wasn’t invested in the central element driving the story. I couldn’t get involved in the story after that.

-"Sub Rosa" certainly isn’t as watchable as "Code of Honor", but then, it’s not racist, so it’s kind of a wash! Interesting way to look at it though.
