-Been waiting for Deathwish since you guys started Voyager, since I think it’s one of the series greats. I’m with you on how it manages to intelligently reframe the Q as something intriguing and a grounded in an internal culture logic of their own.
I like the theory that the Q are just one of the oldest species in the universe and they’d long since advanced their technologically to the point of near-indistinguishable omnipotence – the logical endpoint of the relationship between Picard and the lady from Who Watches the Watchers.
Also, Quicide… genius.
